👕 Gideon’s Closet: Foster Care Ministry

At Community Church of Waterford, we believe every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and cared for—especially in moments of transition. Gideon’s Closet exists to wrap children in love from the very first day they enter a new home.

Whether you’re fostering or adopting, we know the call can come unexpectedly. You may be picking up children late at night, with no clothes or supplies on hand. That’s where we step in.

Reach out to us—and we’ll make sure your kids have what they need.
From clothing to essentials, we’re here to support families welcoming children into their lives. We also partner with local volunteers and businesses to offer additional help when possible—like backpacks, haircuts, and other practical blessings.

💛This ministry is more than just fabric and zippers—it’s a tangible expression of God’s love, stitched with hope and delivered with dignity.

We are open every Tuesday from 5:30 pm to 7 pm.
